Music: Playing songs that provide various effects while active.If someone without the Animal Instincts talent attempts this, the effect can be random (most often an attempt to reduce encounters will drive them up instead, leading to a frustrating experience). This bonus is percentage-based, and therefore more powerful when the character is already at a high level. Piety: Randomly raises one of the character's stats each time the skill level increases.Nothing truly exceptional is available, however it can be abused to get some reasonably valuable accessories or high level crafting materials earlier than otherwise possible. ESP: Grants the player one random item out of several each time the skill level increases.This can be done on every character individually, making it a good investment for characters that the the player has no intention of using otherwise. Purity: Grants the player additional money each time the skill level increases (after reaching level 10, the total bonus will be 100,000).Determination: Decreases the SP cost to learn all other skills (permanently) as the skill level increases - while expensive, this skill should be a top priority for all characters the player is using.Note that some of them have unclear descriptions or secret effects. When reaching a new town, it is recommended to purchase all of the available skills and review them. Get the Item Creation Alchemy (Technology, Minerology, Faeriology) to level 10. Pick one of your mages (and make sure he/she has the Blessing of Mana talent). To get this you need the skills: Item Knowledge, Mineralogy, Herbology (Appraising), Mineralogy, Eye for Detail and Aesthetics (Crafting) on everybody in your party. Get the Super Specialty Group Appraising. There is a couple of preparation steps for this, but in general its fairly easy to grind money fast.
